GSR2/Temp2X System (without Calmlink Sofrtware)

The small, hand-held and self contained GSR2/Temp2Xtm is a Galvanic Skin Response monitoring device for home biofeedback. The GSR2tm precisely monitors your stress levels by translating tiny tension-related changes in skin conductance into a rising or falling tone. By resting two fingers on the sensing plates you learn to lower your stress level using internal GSR2 speaker or the dual sensitivity temperature meter.

Biofeedback with the GSR2/Temp2Xtm gives you this unique dual monitoring capability to help you take your relaxation response deeper. Knowing your physical reactions helps you can change your responses.

The GSR2/Temp2Xtm  measures changes in autonomic nervous system activity by measuring subtle changes in the moisture of your fingers, the often discussed Galvanic Skin Response (GSR). Learning how to warm your hands has been shown to improve blood pressure and increase the relaxation response.

The GSR2/Temp2Xtm includes a temperature sensor for monitoring heat levels in fingers. Stress also reduces blood flow to the hands, causing cooling. The GSR2/Temp2Xtm home biofeedback system allows you to do "hand warming" biofeedback. In addition to the GSR2 monitor, the system includes a temperature sensor, remote electrodes that attach to the hands or feet, a dual-sensitivity meter, earphones, instructional manual and an audio CD-ROM with a relaxation program designed for this device.
